Wyden on Improving Health Care through Technology & Access to Data

July 17, 2013- Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) questions witnesses in Senate Finance Committee hearing. Access to data is crucial in providing better health care. Taxpayers have invested billions of dollars in systems to allow patients' health care providers to share information so patients can receive coordinated, quality care. Wyden presses that the vendors of these health IT systems must be held accountable to making sure their systems work with each other.
