Wyden Hosts Three Town Halls Next Week
Senator in Jefferson, Deschutes and Klamath counties
Portland – Senator Ron Wyden will hold town halls next week in Jefferson, Deschutes and Klamath counties.
These upcoming three town halls will increase to 879 the number of town halls Wyden has held since promising when first elected to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties.
“These open-to-all town halls represent the best of our state’s proven tradition of participatory democracy, which depends on all Oregonians having the opportunity to ask any question of the people they elect to office,” Wyden said. “I look forward to hearing Oregonians’ ideas and solutions at these town halls. These conversations are a big part of what I call the ‘Oregon Way.’”
The town hall schedule is as follows:
Friday, March 9
JEFFERSON COUNTY: 9 am, Madras Performing Arts Center, 412 SE Buff Street, Madras
DESCHUTES COUNTY: 5:30pm, Pilot Butte Middle School, 1501 NE Neff Road, Bend
Saturday, March 10
KLAMATH COUNTY: 11:30am, Oregon Tech, 3201 Campus Drive, College Union Auditorium, 1st Floor, Klamath Falls
