Wyden Holds Three Town Halls This Weekend
Senator Will Visit Josephine, Klamath and Lincoln counties
Portland, OR – Senator Ron Wyden will hold town halls this weekend in three Oregon counties.
Maintaining his commitment to hold town halls each year in each of Oregon’s 36 counties, Senator Wyden will hold town halls on Saturday, Jan. 17 in Josephine and Klamath counties. On Sunday, Jan. 18 he will hold a town hall in Lincoln County.
“I look forward to all of my annual town halls because Oregonians talk with me directly about their concerns and ask me any question,” said Senator Wyden, who has held more than 700 town halls in Oregon.
“Even in today’s age of electronic communication, these traditional conversations are fantastic opportunities for all of us as Oregonians,” he said, “to have the kinds of productive and thoughtful discussions the Founding Fathers envisioned.”
Senator Wyden’s town hall schedule for Jan. 17-18 is as follows:
- JOSPEHINE COUNTY: 10 am, Saturday, Jan. 17, Rogue Auditorium, Rogue Community College, 3345 Redwood Hwy, Grants Pass
- KLAMATH COUNTY: 3:30 pm, Saturday, Jan. 17, OIT College Union Building, 3200 Campus Drive, Klamath Falls
- LINCOLN COUNTY: 1 pm, Sunday, Jan. 18, the Commons at Oregon Coast Community College, 400 SE College Way, Newport
