Wyden Announces Town Halls in Marion and Yamhill counties
Senator’s first town halls of 2025 will be this Saturday, Jan. 18
Portland - U.S. Senator Ron Wyden today announced he will hold his first open-to-all town halls of 2025 this weekend in Marion and Yamhill counties.
Heading into these two town halls on Saturday, Jan. 18, Wyden has held 1,101 town halls in keeping his promise to hold at least one town hall each year in each of Oregon’s 36 counties.
“These town halls providing Oregonians in-person opportunities to ask questions directly of their elected representatives and to voice their opinions about priorities for their community, state and country are essential for a vital democracy,” Wyden said. “And this weekend’s town halls coming at the start of a new year with a new Congress and administration are especially timely. I very much look forward to these face-to-face conversations in Marion and Yamhill counties to work on common-ground and common-sense solutions that make Oregon an even better place to live and work.”
The schedule for the town halls this Saturday, Jan. 18 is as follows:
- Marion County, 2 pm, Chemeketa Community College Salem Campus, 4000 Lancaster Dr. NE Building 6, Salem
- Yamhill County, 4:45 pm, Chemeketa Community College Yamhill Valley Campus, 288 NE Norton Ln, McMinnville
