Wyden Announces Town Halls in Hood River, Wasco, Deschutes & Crook Counties
Four open-to-all town halls will be June 26 -27
Portland - U.S. Senator Ron Wyden today announced he will hold in-person town halls in Hood River, Wasco, Deschutes and Crook counties on June 26-27.
Heading into these four town halls, Wyden will have held 1,085 town halls throughout Oregon – including 20 so far this year -- in fulfillment of his pledge to hold at least one town hall each year in each of our state’s 36 counties.
“Oregonians should always have the opportunity to have direct interactions with elected officials to ask questions and discuss ideas that make communities even better places to live and work,” Wyden said. “That’s why I’ve had nearly 1,100 open-to-all town halls and counting, following through on my commitment to hold annual town halls in each of our state’s 36 counties. I am very much looking forward to this latest round of town halls next week in Hood River, Wasco, Deschutes and Crook counties.”
